The food, including breakfast and rooms service was top-class. This applies to both Balinese and foreign cuisine. The cocktails were also the best (among many!) we sampled in Bali. We also found the staff to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable and flexible (providing and early breakfast in bed, travel packs on days of excursions).
Puri Garden Hotel & Hostel is located on Pengosekan Street, in the foothills of Ubud village, the cultural centre of Bali.

the service from the staff was very good. If something happened, it was taken care of. There was a musty smell in my first room and they gave me another room a day later. Otherwise the hotel has everything you need

The walks thru rice paddies and champung ridge walk , the stunning views of the river and jungle , fabulous culture and people , ,
Only negative with this place is the backed up traffic in monkey forest road , just a pity as it’s faster to walk anywhere than catch a ride in the Centre of ubud , fabulous eateries everywhere. Shopping brilliant to boot

Ubud is a great centralised location to stay to do day trips from. The biggest downfall of Ubud is the traffic. It is always bumper to bumper busy, so when planning activities - take this into account. Also be aware that it is an Instagramers paradise - and you will see hundreds of people looking “beautiful’ taking photos of themself. If you are into ‘being seen’ then this is the place for you. Lots of locations for the perfect “scene or foodie” snap. If you are into seeing more of the natural Bali or participating in adventure activities then this a great place to use as a base for a few days.

Go with friends and have a plan, book tours and have things set out. Very hard to do things if not organised the day before but overall a pretty cool place with alot to do if you have people with you.
Super friendly and helpful staff, serving with a smile.
Awesome view around the hotel. You come fully to rest. Rent a bike and you’re close to local temples (holy water experience) and the tegalalang rice fields.
Restaurant had two main dishes because they only opened like a month ago, so there restaurant is not fully ready yet, but a have to say that their nasi is super delicious!!
View in our vila with private pool is also breath taking!
For our honeymoon they also did a lot of effort foe the bed and bad!
It was the one of the best resort we have ever stayed!
Our stay at the hotel was wonderful from the moment we checked in until the moment we left. While staying here you will feel as if you are staying in the middle of the jungle, Loved the private pool. My husband and I enjoyed an absolutely wonderful 3 night stay at Tejaprana Resort.
Fantastic breakfast, great spa experience and cooking class.
Would highly recommend a stay & looking forward to a return visit already!
I don't know how to start, but my stay at nyuh was absolutely amazing. The villa is so spotless with all amenities you may need during holiday. Every villa has its pool that you actually can swim (not just the plunge one). Not forget to mention the breakfast, so yummy with many selections including vegan options. I have stayed in hundreds of five-star hotels around the world, but the service at Nyuh is the best one with a personalized touch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT
5 star experience all the way. Villas are great. View from private pool over the valley and jungle is amaizing. Big infinity pool and restaurat views are amaizing too. You can even see Mt Batur in a sunny day. Very clean. Bathroom with big tub, bedroom all comes with view over the valley and jungle. Very private and great intimacy! Separate outside shower full of plants. Food was great too. All staff very nice, attentive and very helpfull!
The villa with private pool was very nice and clean.
The view of the forest was magnificent.
The staff super kind and helpful.
You can hear just nature all around the hotel because is up the hill of Ubud
Free shuttle available to the Ubud Palace and center of the city
Breakfast was amazing, you can choose anything from the manu and the staff at the restaurant are extremely kind and accomodating.
The villas are spacious and clean. The best are super comfortable, and the location feels like an oasis in the middle of a busy city.
Made, Wayan and their staff go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as they can.
We didn't want to leave and missed it while we were at our other hotels in Bali.
Will definitely be back and recommend this to anyone traveling to bali
We had a Deluxe Villa with private pool which gave us lots of space and a lovely calm space to relax after a busy day of activities. The resort was a bit of a distance from Central Ubud area but still possible to walk it and the hotel offered a free shuttle to the centre. Even though it was on a busier road the resort itself felt like an oasis of calm and was very peaceful.
we stayed in Bali for 3 weeks and this is one of the best villas/ hotels we stayed in
-room was spacious
- shower & bathroom was 20/10
-bed was comfy
- wifi was good
- aircon was very powerful
- location was good not too far from town via taxi/ grab
- staff were very helpful
- breakfast was decent
- surrounding area was peaceful
Kaja Villa is like a magical place completely in the nature. The whole day you are just surrounded by nature sounds. The private pool was really deep and big enough to swim.
Yoga fulfills you every wish, always just 1 message away. For me this was the best Hotel in whole Bali because everything was on point. Thanks for everything!
This is really one of the hotels from our 6 weeks trip that was exceptional! Would recommend it to everyone who is in Ubud and is looking for a quite place with great staff, a superb restaurant, great architecture, and a nice view into the djungle! Also the extra services like spa, yoga, special dinner nights etc were great!
We stayed in 7 different hotels in Indonesia and this was definitely our favorite. The garden is otherwordly beautiful and the rooms spacious and even prettier than the pictures suggest. The bathroom was the best we have had in Indonesia. There is also a yoga space you can use. The location is right inside Ubud art market.
Fantastic hotel. Little did I know it would be one of the best hotels I stayed in. The pool area is very calm, perfect if you want to rest and read a good book. The room is spacious. Everything was great. Location is within walking distance to anywhere you might want to go in Ubud. Everything was outstanding.
Very neat and clean villa with a private pool and all facilities for kitchen mineral water and stencil. But there were very few items in bteakfast and you could ordered in your room also.Rooms and bathrooms were awesome.Therapist of hotel was awesome. I took laundry service also which was nice
Everything was incredible. Massive massive villa with private pool. Clean, comfortable and the most exceptional friendly helpful staff in every way. We extended as we didn't want to leave it was that amazing. Best stay in Bali throughout our travels. Highly recommend
Everything! Staff was very prepared and treated us excellent. The breakfast is awesome, amenities are all excellent too.
The pool area is beautiful, and private villas are like living in a dream!
One of the best hotels I've been!
Congratulations to all the staff!
Wonderful staff, lovely breakfast, very nice lobby, pool and restaurant. Amazing food. Kids describe all meals as the best they’ve ever eaten.
We stayed in a two bedroom villa with private pool which was handy.
Very good location in the center of Ubud. The room is big and has a great ceiling fan. The balcony was also nice. The breakfast was pretty good, like in most hotels - eggs, toast an fruit.
Beautiful views over the rice fields, the staff, and the lovely villas with private pools. There was also a pathway that was along the rice fields that led to the center of Ubud.
